There are two modes of operation--local mode and online mode. Local mode provides direct access to opening your garage door or gate for up to 5 users and unlimited devices directly from the administrator's smartphone. Users can have unlimited access or temporary access. Local mode does not require a subscription fee.

With the cloud-based First Watch Online service, the online mode provides a scheduling engine that allows the administrator to associate multiple schedules to multiple users and/or devices, with no limit to the number of users or devices. An annual subscription fee is required for more than 10 users or for using the scheduling engine.

Plug and Pair Ease of Use

With the SecuRemote system, just attach the SecuRemote device to the wall control box or to the control connectors on the door opener, then download the SecuRemote App to your iPhone, Android, or BlackBerry smartphone. Pair your smartphone with your SecuRemote device, and you have control over your garage door or gate via a Bluetooth wireless connection (which is operable within a 100-foot radius).

The SecuRemote can work on its own, or complement an existing overhead garage opener or electronic gate by providing additional functionality and control. It does not change the function of an overhead garage opener--it only actuates it as if you were to push the wall switch. Therefore, it can work alongside with a conventional garage door opener remote or keypad.
